As the owner, operator and luthier of Rehaired Lutherie LLC, I am proud to provide quality maintenance and repairs on violin, viola, cello and bass bows as well as some basic maintenance and repairs on student model violins and violas. Getting here has been quite the adventure!

After graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a major in instrumental music education and subbing in local school districts for a few years, I decided to make a career change and started working at Shar Products Co., first as an instrument inspector and then as an instrument technician.

As an instrument technician, I completed setups on student model violins and violas. I also cleaned and repaired trade-ins and rentals in order to get them ready to be used again. After proving my skill and desire to learn, I started training on bows under John Perrett, first starting with setups and moving on to rehairs.

During my training on bows, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. After being let go as a reduction in force, I knew that I wanted to continue working on instruments. This is where the idea for Rehaired Lutherie LLC was born. After completing more training with Learning Trade Secrets under instructors such as Rodney Mohr, Katherine Mohr, and David Orlin, I am excited to help keep your bows and instruments in tip top shape and repair any damage so that you can continue to make music.

Feel free to reach out with any questions!
